This book was recommended to me by one of the boekgrrls, and that recommendation I give to it wholeheartedly to all readers of my blog! The story The novel begins with a press release in March 2009 of the Scottish police: they have the 48-year-old Maxwell Sim naked in supercooled state found in his car, with some empty whiskey bottles and two cardboard boxes with toothbrushes. The rest of the book is devoted to how it came to be. Thus, the depressive Maxwell at the beginning of the book on the way back from Australia, where he visited knihkupectví his father, with whom he had a not so warm relationship.
