I read this this morning and thought it was good. It started tough, so it took a while before I realized where it was going and what it would be about. You may follow different people but it revolves around a story. Jamie has killed his wife Maggie as she was dying of cancer. His cousin Cam arrest him and a trial begins. Cam Wife Allie thinks it Jamie has done is romantic and that she would do the same if Cam asked her. Cam however, disagrees. Around the same time as Jamie shows up will Mia, who becomes assistant Allie and Cam takes a liking to her. Mass intrigue in other words, but it never feels silly in this story. Picoult writes skilfully without feels too cliché. Read!
